(General rules)
1. Please don’t post any offensive material, its fine if you bring up controversial issues but be civil about it. If you post anything that in any way offends anyone because of their religion, race, gender, sexuality etc… it will result in a warning and possibly a permanent ban, depending on how serious it is. (note, this doesn't apply to roleplaying as your characters can think and do whatever they want
2. Listen to the staff, site’s not going to run unless there’s order, so failure to do will result in a penalty, probably just a warning but if it keeps happening it could result in your account getting deleted. If you felt you have been treated unfairly by a staff member, pm me, quof, and we’ll see what we can work out.
3. Cussing is allowed in character, but please keep it to a minimum out of character. The English language is beautiful and there are a million words you could use instead.
4. On that, please be literate. We don’t expect you to be perfect but we expect you to try. Spell Check is your best friend, I promise.
5. No spamming, spams are excessively short or off-topic posts, please post everything in the appropriate boards, especially advertisements.
6. In accordance with proboards, this site is rated pg-13. Now, I know mortal instruments toes that line a bit, but if the movie is pg-13, then we can be too. If all else fails, fade to black. If you're uncertain about your content, just put a [M] label on it so those who wish to avoid it can.
7. Yes, we are one of those sites that does one-character per account. It just makes everything flow better. There is no limit to the number of characters you can have, but they must all be active.(Roleplaying rules)1. Your application must be accepted before you can start roleplaying. End of story.
2. I’m not going to set a word limit, but as an intermediate-advanced roleplay site posts should be at least 400-500 words. If short posts become a problem we will have to set a word count, so don't make us! Also don't reply to a 1000 word post with a 100 word post or vice versa. It's unfair, please follow the standard of the person above you as much as possible.
3. No GODMODDING/POWERPLAYING- for those of you who don’t know it is when you try to control other people’s characters when roleplaying. Write your posts so that they can respond however they want their character to respond without dictating anything to them.
4. NO MARY-SUEING!!! That’s basically where you create and invincible, perfect character who never gets hurt. Weaknesses are part of your application for a reason; they are what makes your character human, and what makes them interesting. Code word is Artemis. Make those weaknesses count and stick to them when posting. Also realize that your character cannot win every battle. When people don't follow these two rules roleplay gets really irritating and tidious really fast. Don't do it.(graphics)1. If someone makes a graphic for you, you must give them credit.
2. Any and all images posted must not stretch the board. Use your brain, you can tell whether or not an image is too big or not.
3. You must have a face-claim, and they must be a real person. The only exception is faeries(and maybe warlocks) that may not look human, however, you must get your graphic approved by me before you can use it.
4. Last note, please make sure that images don't contain nudity or excessive graphic violence. I also don't want to see something that looked like it came out of a porn magazine.(The end)You made it! That wasn't so bad now was it? I know the rules are long but their here to make your roleplaying experience better. If you having trouble finding the code word, review roleplaying rules. That's all, thanks guys, love ya!
