The Nephilim
Shadowhunters- Descendants of Johnathan Shadowhunter, the blood of Raziel runes through their veins. This makes them stronger, faster, and gives them the ability to endure the runes of heaven. They are in charge with protecting this world from demonic influences.
-Silent Brothers- all male primarily the archivists of the shadowhunters. They can also read and damage minds. They wear powerful runes that mutilate their outward appearance, their eyes and mouths are sewn shut, and they're bald. They're not immortal, but they do have a longer life span
-Iron Sisters- all female, they are completely isolated from the rest of the world. They make the shadowhunter weapons. Their eyes are the color of fire and they wear white robes.
-The Consul- Leader of the Clave. Technically it's Jia Penhallow, but of someone else would like to make a character to be the consul that's okay.
-The Inquisitor- formerly Imogen Herondale and Aldertree. They investigate their fellow shadowhunters and are charged with upholding the law. They often act as the judge for convicted criminals and are the only ones who can wield the mortal sword. This position is currently OPEN.
The Dark Nephilim-
-Shadowhunters who have drunken from the infernal cup and now have Lilith's blood running through them. It makes them stronger and faster than normal shadowhunters, and also strangely subservient to Sebastian.
Vampires
The Night Children-Vampires are made when a human gets vampire blood in their system, then is drained of blood by a vampire, dies, is buried, and then emerges from the grave and drinks blood. All of these have to happen, in this order. New vampires are called Fledglings. Most vampires organize into clans, although some choose to live separately. Also, vampire saliva has healing properties.
-Vampires are stronger and faster than humans. The possess the fascination(or coercion) power. They're immortal, and they can turn into bats, rats, and dust. Susceptible to sunlight, symbols of their faith prior to conversion, and fire.
-Subjugates- human subjugates are illegal, but some of the older vampires still have them. human subjugates feed of a vampire blood. It increases their life span but also makes them subservient to said vampire.
-Daylighter- vampires that can go out in the daylight, probably due to angel blood in their system. Only known one is Simon. You may create a Daylighter vampire if you PM me first!.
Werewolves
Lycanthropes/Moon's children-Werewolves are either born to werewolf parents or when a human is bitten by a werewolf, there's a 50% chance they'll become a werewolf. Young werewolves can't control their transformations, which are often accompanied by uncontrollable rage streaks. Older werewolves only have to transform on the full moon. Complete transformations will turn them into full wolves, but they can partially transform as well. They are susceptible to silver and the mortal enemies of vampires. The generally live in packs, and whoever kills a pack leader becomes the new pack leader.
Praetor Lupus- founded by Woosley scott and run by his descendants. They're a combination rehabilitation for wayward and a training ground for future mentors. The praetor's mission is to help young or fledgling downworlders adjust to their transformation. They help all downworlders, but only werewolves can join. They're run kind of like a boot camp, with the haircuts and all.
Warlocks
Lilith's children- The children of demon's and humans, they usually have some feature that marks them as a warlock(cat eyes, blue skin, wings etc...) They are infertile, immortal, and possess the ability to do magic. Both males and females are warlocks. They have no official organization, though there is usually a head warlock for a particular area. Most warlocks will assist shadowhunters and downworlders for a fee.

Faeries/Fair Folk- The children of demon's and angels(or possible fallen angels), they possess all the beauty of the angels and all the cruelty of the demons. They can't lie, but they're master deceivers. They tend to have some sort of nature appearance, like flower hair or webbed hands or a combination of many things. They faeries are organized into seelie courts or unseelie courts in the faerie realm, of which there is one "queen." Faeries are immortal. They appear to come in several different varieties, among them being:
- Another option is, "The Wild hunt", "Gabriel's Hounds", or "Wild Host",- wild or rogue faeries that roam the night sky. Once a year a mortal may join, but once you do, you can never leave.

- Pucas (described as tall dark skinned folk with pointed ears)
